The rugged roda Ethernet switch is designed for use in harsh environments and is suitable for vehicle integration in military applications. It accommodates twelve ports of 10/100/1000 Mbps twisted pair Ethernet and two SFP slots for Gigabit Fiber Ethernet connectivity.

Operating the managed standalone switch does not require a host computer interface - the management applications run directly on the internal MIPS processor at 480 MHz clock speed. The management applications are performed via an in-band web interface by one of the Ethernet ports or by the RS232 port (X14) through out-of-band interface with command line display. The integrated web interface provides an intuitive graphical user interface for the configuration of the switch and the control of all management functions.

The switch is designed for use in an extended temperature range from -40 ° C to + 70 ° C without heater / fan.
